Few updates and reminders.
1. Night rides: Now that daylight saving time is gone, are pretty much dark the whole ride. You need at least 1 preferably 2 lights at the start of these rides.
2. Leaves on trail: Right now, the trails are well covered in leaves. They hide roots and rocks under them than can be tricky or annoying to hit without knowing they are that. This may encourage you to remove the leaves, but we ask you let them lie on the trails. In 2-3 weeks, they will get ground up so you can see obstacles again, but the ground up leaves result in better trails through the winter and spring. Please let the leaves lie.
3. Log over obstacles: We noticed a few log over obstacles have been cut out, particularly on Log Trail (irony). I kinda doubt the person/group who cut them out follows this page or will ever see this post, but please leave the reasonably sized, stable, rideable logs on the trail. What may be a major inconvenience for you, is a healthy challenge for another or a fun line for an experienced rider. Full trees or logs most would have to dismount for can be removed, but if it’s rideable by even a few without dismount, let it be the fun line that it is.
