Hey Charles. Are you guys headed up to dirt fest this year? I really wanted to go this year but I'm not into primitive camping. Where do you guys plan to stay if you're coming up?

Probably not, just because I haven't found anyone to carpool with that wants to take off work and drive 7 hours to go ride bikes. Crazy, right? If that changes in the next couple of weeks, I'll let you know. In the past, sites couldn't be reserved before Memorial Day. We would show up on Thursday and always find a spot, first come first served. The Ridge, IIRC, is the favored campsite loop.

Sorry I didn't see this until now. We had a non-primitive campground reserved for Friday and Saturday night, but ended up canceling it and leaving Friday night due to the rain forecast. Had a great time riding new bikes for 5-6hrs Friday afternoon. I don't mind driving to Allegrippis for one day. It's worth it, especially during dirt fest. I'll be going again this year. Definitely in September and maybe sooner.

I just saw that I replied to a post from 2014. Oh well. Not much activity on here.
