Impromptu trailwork- Sat Dec 3 Rocky Ridge- Feature building

Postby diggingtrail » Wed Nov 30, 2011 4:43 pm

Impromptu trail work session to construct or finish off features at Rocky Ridge. I'd like to concentrate on Rusty Chair and trail 6. Work will include cutting and moving heavy logs, harvesting large rocks, and moving dirt. If you are interested in features please come out to help. If you have no desire to ride rocks or logs this isnt the trailwork for you If you can bring shovel and webbing straps or a bucket as they would be handy to have.

Where: Rocky Ridge
Meet: in the rear gravel parking lot under the power lines
Time: 10:00a

Good news is that I can be there. Bad news is that my back is wrecked so super heavy lifting is out. I will bring the saw and take out those two trees then chip in where I can.

I can walk ok but I'm nervous about re-injuring it. I am bring my saw and will take off on my own to take out 2 trees that need removed first then I will find you guys. Hopefully we can flat-top some log rides ala white clay!!!
