Trimming needed at The Lakes

Postby diggingtrail » Tue Jun 21, 2011 8:37 pm

The Lakes have grown in fast and are in desperate need of trimming. We wouldn't want out of towners to complain about our trails not being maintained for them now would we (some of you will get that joke). :D

Trails that I have ridden or have heard are overgrown: Trails 1, 2c, 6, 7, Goat trail near the fishing area on Log Rd, 5 (from Ironstone Hill Rd (at the bottom airplane hill) to Log Rd).

If you can get out in the near future and even put a dent into the overgrowth on just one trail it would be greatly appreciated. If you do trim post in this thread so I can put your TW hours in. Thank you in advance to any helpers.

I noticed yesterday that there is also a tree down across 2B. It's at the top of the downhill section that dumps you back onto 2.

Yes. Just let me know when you might be headed out so I can give The Parks a heads up.
