Anyone interested in playing a little bike polo? I'd like to try and set something up local.

Hmmm, could be fun. Maybe we could use the horse fields/rings at Spring Valley since they hardly ever do any more. And hey it is polo. Put me down as interested

Yeah, I'm just tryinmg to gauge some interest right now. I will be playing in Lancaster tonight if it doesn't rain. BUt I thought maybe we could get something going over on this side of the river.

I'm thinking of I could having enough mallets for everyone, which is not the big an issue since there is only 3 per team.

Is anyone interested in playing some bike polo on Sunday, maybe late morning? We have enough mallets for everyone. And if you know anyone else that would like to play please invite them. This will be very casual all about learning. I'm thinking either the tennis courts in Hellam or the basketball court in red lion. I will update with specific info later.

Spring Valley horse rings are loose sand/gravel, basketball courts are usually paved? ,,,, what kind
of surface is this bike polo usually played on ?

actually its played on both. I started a few weeks ago on the hard court riding my old SS, and it has been unbelieveably fun. This is be slow paced beginner level stuff, no full body checks yet!

This actually sounds like fun. Wish I had time in my busy schedule to check it out. My poor bike has spent almost the entire year in storage. :/

It is very fun. I started about 7 weeks ago over in Lancaster and its all I think about. And it will keep you on the bike through the winter.

Unfortunately, I going to cancel for Sunday. I had enough interest but everyone has other things going on. So, I will try to set something up again i the next week or two.
