Okay, that's it. All of the trees must go! :) Seems like the camera survived?

Thanks for the "concern" guys. :P Yeah I made it out of that one relatively ok. Camera and bike are fine too. I am banged up, sore, bruised, and stiff but it could have been much worse. I am surprised I walked away with all my teeth the with the way that I went down. I will be ordering a full face helmet and some keepads for when I ride like that. I new that people would get a kick out seeing that crash. We'll see how I feel tomorrow, I might come up to the beginner ride for a little recovery.

Well played!

If you're going the full face route, I like everything about the Giro Remedy, except that the liner velcro wears out after about a season. I wash mine after every ride (or else it has an unbearable stink), which is probably why the velcro wears out. You can also snap out the cheek pads so it's cooler, which is how I always wear mine.

I've heard good things about the Deviant, which is what I would probably try next.

I'm going to try the Deviant. I too have heard good things about it, relatvely light and cool for being a full face. I've never had much luck getting a Giro to fit right. I'm going to email Gung Ho to see if they can get one of the Deviants in to test fit to make sure it feels right before dropping $140 on a helmet. I thought for sure I was loosing teeth as I saw the ground rushing towards my face. Somehow my shoulders took the brunt of the hit and I rolled out of it, only taking a few scratches to my upper lip and chin.
