YAMBA Winter Night Rides

YAMBA has gained special permission from the York County Parks to hold weekly night rides every week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will have a Plan A and Plan B ride in case of wet trail conditions at the Lakes.

We want to encourage riders of all abilities and skill levels to participate in these rides. Riding at night is really a great time! If you have never biked at night or are unsure whether you will enjoy participating in a ride hosted by YAMBA, join us for one ride to try it! However, due to our liability insurance regulations, you must become a member to participate regularly.
Link to become a member: http://yamba.org/membership/membership.html

Requirements:
Must be a current YAMBA member or willing to join the club if you plan to attend more than one ride.
Helmet, Hydration, Functioning Bike and Lights (Sept thru Mid April)
We suggest at least 400 lumens. Many folks run 1000 lumen or more between bar lights and helmet light. Cost effective lighting options and professional advice are available from any Local Bike Shop.

******Night riding isn't allowed in York County Parks. We are in the park after hours with special permission. Each ride will have a leader and a sweep and no one will be left behind.****
