Large tree down on coperhead.

Postby mtmajor » Fri Oct 12, 2012 10:41 am

There is a large tree down on the lower section of Coperhead. It is maybe 150 yards in from Iron stone hill rd. The whole tree blew over from uphill and is blocking the trail at about chest high. I was able to pass it by dismounting and ducking under. Smaller riders might be able to ride under it though. The top of the tree wedged onto another tree further down the slope and it looks like it will very tricky to remove.
Not sure how long its been there since that was first time I was able to get out there in awhile.

I have a lot of flexibilty in my schedule to get out there today or Saturday or Sunday. Anybody available to lend a hand?

Scott,
I can be there tomorrow to help between 9am and noon, if that works?
Looks like another tricky one.
