Trees down

Postby ScottyB » Sun Sep 09, 2012 10:25 pm

Multiple trees are down on trail 2 coming up from Water Street at the dam. Also on trail 4 a ways up from the creek bridge.
They were pretty big, I can help whoever wants to cut them.

Let's meet at the old boat launch parking lot at 5. That gives us about 1.5 hrs of good sunlight. I'll bring my saw along too. Anybody else available to give us a hand?

Removed 3 downed trees today on Trail #1A single track section, still one big
and tricky tree needs removed , started to cut it but couldn`t figure out how
to cut without pinching the saw.
There`s also one on the fire trail climb but figured the parks will do that one.

Thanks Jody! I'll try to get those last two ASAP. Is the one on the singletrack section closer to the top or bottom?

The single track downed tree is at the far end of 1A, the turn, where you can
see the Christmas Tree Hill Shop/Store.
The fire road tree, you can ride your bike through it , it is near the trail #7 entrance,
the parks will probably get that one.
